I’m getting married in Feb, my dress is strapless and I’m thinking of adding a bolero or jacket.
I always liked the look of a bolero but need to make sure it will go with the dress. Also, the venue we’re getting married at was constructed in 1890 so I want to wear something that will match the look of the venue …
I’d love to get your opinion on the ones I’ve posted as well as get inspiration from you on what you wore/will be wearing for your winter wedding.
Pic of my dress:
Bolero #2 – 3/4 sleeve – I just love the neckline and the length of the sleevs.
Bolero #3 – I like this one as well – not sure if it will be too short for the dress or perfect length to go with the belt of the dress.

Giiiirl these ain’t gonna keep you warm! The jacket seems like your best defense against frostbite. Is it snowy winter where you are getting married?
I really struggled with the same dilemma and ended up getting a long white wool shawl coat with a belt to show the shape of the dress.

it doesn’t get too cold here – it might be 15-17 degrees celsius. So for the photos outside I’ll probably wear something warm but I do like the bolero for the venue just cause I think it adds to the dress.
Your idea sounds good though for the photos outside 🙂

then never mind! Those will be great. I was picturing the kind of winter I’m expecting: -10 C 🙂
