We finally had our engagement photo shoot today after being engaged for 7 months! We wanted to do a feux camping shoot as my fiance and I are really into the outdoors and love to go camping together. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate and a huge rainstorm rolled in the day of. Our photographer was so great and flexible and suggested we drive up to a mountain lodge location. It was perfect! Very rustic and cozy. We even braved it and got some snow pictures! After finishing up at the lodge with our photographer, the fiance and I stopped by the campground on our way back home. The rain stopped long enough for us to get a couple prop shots. My photographer said she should have 20-30 ready in a couple days. So excited to see the final results!

Those are so adorable!! You guys are cute!
I’ve had a really hard time imagining what we should do for e-pics, and I might just steal your idea. We love the outdoors, and backpacking so much.

You should! It was really fun thinking of different props and poses to do for a camping shoot. We rented two lanterns, a quilt, a piece of lace and flannel from a vintage event and rental store. Bought the mugs and s’more fixings. We planned on setting up a make shift tent with the lace and quilt. Like I said before, we had to totally scrap most of the camping shots. Guess that’s what we get for doing pictures during March in Oregon!

Haha love this. We just had our enagement pics taken in the mountains yesterday. No rain but knee deep snow… I am looking forward to seeing our pics too.

My photographer posted several teasers on her facebook site last night! So happy with how they turned out and can’t wait until they all are finished 🙂 I would highly recommend Megan Love Photography if anyone is looking for a photographer in the NW.
