Are any of you buying a “winter” dress? I totally get the idea of a summer dress; you probably don’t want something overly hot and heavy in the middle of July. However, I don’t quite feel the same stigma exists for winter weddings….I think you can pretty much choose any dress (you are indoors afterall). Anyone else feel the same way?

My wedding is in December and my dress is strapless. I did however look at dresses with sleeves and “winter” dresses, but was unable to find one that I liked. I thought the exact same thing (I will be inside anyway!!) It also gets very hot when dancing at reception.

Yes, I think if you feel that you may get chilly during the time you do spend outdoors, get a beautiful shawl or shoulder wrap

I struggled trying to find a dress that looked like a “winter” dress. I was honestly searching “winter wedding gown” on google images! Everything showed the brides all covered up- which I did not want. I will probably get some sort of cover up for pictures outside, but for indoors I wanted to look “wintery” but also look like a bride! When I first saw this dress I thought, maybe it could work-but then when I put it on, it was PERFECT! It’s part of Rivini’s 2013 collection:Paulette
