Fiance and I live in Texas but every winter we take a trip up to Colorado. We are going to be doing our engagement pictures while we’re up there. I want to take some in the snow but I’m not sure what to wear! Has anyone taken their pictures in the snow and can give me some ideas on what to wear? I know it will be cold but I don’t want to wear a huge jacket ( I figure we can suck it up for an hour haha)

@MissB15: this is what I plan to do. I plan on either a nice, flattering, pretty jacket or, I’ll wear a nice, warm sweater and like you said, tough it out for an hour or so.
SO just doesn’t get cold so he’s good lol

I am kind of having the same problem. I want to do engagement pics but it is ugly outside here in NE Ohio. It’s cold like winter but rainy/muddy/ gross. If it were actually snowing like it should this would be so much easier lol. I’m going pretty casual though, jeans, boots, cute sweater scarves hat, ya know. If only all the leaves were still on the trees *sigh* The idea of taking stiff posed pics in front of a back drop just doesn’t appeal to me, so like you Fiance and I will suck it up for an hour lol. I bet it is beautiful in CO, I have never been so I will be looking for your pics! Have fun 🙂

I think I’d wear a nice thermal jersey under my sweater – I still can’t understand how it works, but these things keep me so warm! Plan to have my pictures taken in a few weeks and this is what I have in mind.

@TrueBeeliever: Hey date twin! Glad to see that someone else hasn’t taken their pictures yet! Hopefully it starts snowing for you guys to take yalls pictures!
Thanks for the ideas!! I think I’ll end up wearing a sweater, if I can find one that doesn’t make me look like a marshmallow!

Lol I didn’t notice that, good eye! Yea a sweater is prob the best bet since I hate big bulky coats. I’m full figured so I hope I can be cute, comfortable, warm and not look like a barn lol.
