I am trying to decide which flowers to pick. I love both of these ideas very much. I think i love the gold/yellow ones more, but I am having problems figuring out what I would do for bridesmaids flowers. HELP! Which ones do you like better? Any ideas on what I could do for bridesmaids flowers with either option? Thanks!

The gold ones don’t look real, but if that’s the stylized look you are going for…
For the BMs-
The bouquet in the picture is mostly purple with ivory accents. Perhaps have your BMs carry something similar that is mostly ivory with purple accents? The ivory will stand out against their dress (assuming they are wearing a color other than white) and the purple will stand out against your ivory/white dress.

I am having trouble choosing as well.
The gold ones are a mixture of real and fake- and I personally prefer real flowers. I think the purple ones are pretty wonderful, and I don’t see a lot of brides carrying dark purple flowers- I think it would be amazing.
For the bridesmaids you could do an arrangment similar to yours but not as large or with so many types of flowers. You could even have them all a shade of purple that’s in your bouquet and have each girl carry a different type of flowers. One carries, dark calla lilies, the other roses, ect.. ect..

I love the purple bouquet…if it were me, I would do the purple bouquet for myself & then use the paler color purple flowers for the bridesmaids.

Yea I think the purple would be a very beautiful arrangement. I would take out the fake flowers in the gold bunch and only have the real ones. My other concern would be that the gold wouln’t be all the same color. The more and more I look at the purple, the more I grow to love it. My wedding colors are metallics (gold, silver, bronze) and a deep purple. I thought that maybe gold flowers would be a great way to include more metallics into it, but maybe I could just have the BM’s boquets have hints of silver in theirs and my boquet have hints of gold. Does that sound silly?

Miss Bliss..that sounds beautiful, I don’t think it would be "silly" at all. Love your colors btw!

I think the gold is kind of boring….but I have to admit I am not a fan of a mono-chromatic look, so if you are, then the gold works. I love the purple because you can have varying shades and it is just so dramatic.

Miss Bliss — Love your idea for incorporating metallics into the gold. That’s definitely my favorite (though I seem to be in the minority on this thread
). I’m having a metallics wedding, too–copper and silver–and I think incorporating them into the bouquets is a great idea. And while the gold definitely allows you less variance in color, I think using different flowers in the same color can still make for a very interesting bouquet. And you can still get enough difference in darker and lighter flowers to use one or the other for smaller b-maid bouquets.
