Cute coat! I’d go with jeans and some boots!

jeans are always great, but tights could be really fun too!!

I’m trying to make the same decision (our engagement shoot is Dec. 29th).  Cute coat and jeans and boots or a dress and tights.  I’m not sure which way I will go yet… but I definitely think a shpping trip is in order 🙂  I wish I had a big Newfie for my pictures.  I’m sure they will turn out great!

Jeans and tall boots!! Soooo cute!

And since that coat has an awesomely detailed neck, I’d take some pics of it open and some closed. I can’t wait to see them! Please post once you get them!

I think dark denim is good for this sorta thing- it looks dressy but relaxed, ya know?

I would go with jeans and boots.  You want to look cute but also be warm and toasty!  Our hands were turning into claws from the cold which wasn’t pretty!

Jeans and boots!

It was cold when we did ours, so I wore my jacket in between most shots, and I had to beg Fiance to take his off in a few. lol. It’s a great way to mix things up! If you do a scarf, you can totally take it and the coat off, and do just the scarf, just with the coat…

there’s a million ways to mix it up!

I hope it’s snowing by then… LOL – we’re getting married the same day in Calgary!! Where are you having your ceremony/reception?? We’re having ours at St. Marys cathedral, and then the reception at the Regency chinese restaurant.

We’re going to do e-pics in January too, I hope that they turn out well for you!!

Jeans and most definitely boots.  Also, if you can bear it try for some in a dress too.  I just love the look of a dress outside in nature.  I guess that depends on your location.
