I am having a winter wedding, too!  It’s a beautiful season to get married since you can use TONS of non-floral centerpieces (it’s a great way to save money).  I’m on the West Coast, so I don’t have any venue advice, but I am sure you will find something beautiful!

@stacycybele:  You sent me a pm but I figured I would reply here, so that if anyone in the future has the same questions they can see it πŸ™‚ I got married at the Gershon Fox ballroom in Hartford, CT.  In the atrium they set up a Christmas tree every year which of course helped with our winter theme. They will not take the tree down, so if you don’t want a nod to Christmas this will not work. I am a wedding planner in CT as well, and I can promise you that the GFox is exceptional. Amazing food and amazing staff. The building is very art deco and plays well with a 20’s glamour feel.

cocktail hour is held in the mezzanine upstairs

ballroom

Other places to check in CT that could play into a great winter theme is Farmington Gardens. They have a heated green house for cocktail hours that would let you view  the foliage and hopefully snow πŸ™‚

The Pond House in West Hartford also does beautiful winter weddings

The Pond House would be the most affordable of the 3

@stacycybele:  If you need help in CT dont hesitate to ask. I don’t mind helping. I help bees for free all of the time.
