So i am planning a january wedding and have already picked charcoal grey as my primary color. I wanted to use tiffany blue as my accent color. is it too much of a summer color? what other colors would work? please help

Contrary to popular belief, every color is acceptable year round. Tiffany blue is often used in winter.

i dont think its too summery at all. In fact silver/grey and light blue seem very wintery to me… like snow!

I think it’s great. Very wintery actually.
My only concern about the tiffany blue is that it may not be enough of a punch. It may look very dreary. Perhaps teal is a better choice.

There are a lot of Jan 2011 ladies who are using aqua, teal, Tiffany blue as their colors.

Tiffany blue is another name for aqua, turquoise, teal, etc

Thanks ladies for all of your advice. I am feeling much better about my decision now!

I would use the two colors you mention (charcoal gray and tiffany blue), but maybe add a shade of navy blue for a little more pop.

wow! i found this and this is my planned date too!! I have a different color scheme picked out, but i think yours sounds AMAZING since blue is wintery and fun. White gray and blue are a very stylish combination!

Maybe add a silver or ivory/cream/pearl!

I know this is old… but my husband and I got married in december! We had a winter wonderland wedding theme.. In the reception area we had the colors silver, royal blue & sky blue/aqua blue. Oh and a little white! … Upstairs in the ceremony area in the church we had Christmas colors, NOT ALOT though. Mostly because they had the church area already decorated BEAUTIFULLY and since I was planning on keeping it simple up there I just left things how it was. 🙂
