I’m having such a hard time figuring out what colors to choose for my wedding. The date is December 6th, 2014. I’ve found a wonderful color called Claret but I don’t know if it’s a good color for winter and if it is then I don’t know what to pair it up with. I just want to figure out the colors so I can relax. It’s just driving me crazy.

If you went with that color, I would go with lots of white and silver

Claret is the color of dark cinnamon and matches cranberries. So, it is perfect for your winter weddings. Have a lot of bling, white or cream colored branches, you can do a search on googleimages.com for cranberry flower arrangements if you want to go that way. Silver or gold would nice accents or you can go with both. I would tend more towards ivory than white as the colors match a little better but that’s up to you. I think it’s a great color and very romantic. If you go with roses, try to get them as dark as possible. Good luck!

That’s beautiful! I’m going with a deep red but a little brighter than your red, silver, and ivory for our 12-12-14 wedding!

@psykhe22: Gold would look great with that shade too 🙂
