My wedding is fast approaching (December 1!) and I’m having trouble figuring out how to schedule pictures. My ceremony starts at 7:30pm.
We’re only paying the photographer for 7 hours, and we aren’t paying hair/makeup to stick around for touch-ups.
I’d love daytime photos, but the sun sets at 4:00 on my wedding day, which means we’d need to shoot from at least 2:30 on, which tacks on a lot of extra hours for the photographer. Also, I’m assuming if we shoot outside for an hour, my makeup and hair will be semi-messed up, which means we’d need to pay the artists to stick around after for touchups.
All in all, it seems like a ton of extra money for a few good photos.
Would love to know how other winter brides handled this situation, especially with a ceremony that starts late!
