I got married last january. There was a snow storm the night before my wedding and here’s what spent my day hopping snowbanks in!

I have white winter boots (didn’t buy them new for the wedding, bought them last year because I needed a good pair) or Nine West Flats if the weather is fairer than expected.

Then I have heels for indoors!  It’s a lot to tote around but what ya gonna do?

Formal heels:

If I have a winter wedding I plan on wearing Uggs… I’ll be too cold for anything else!

I’ll wear cute heels for the reception though.

I just ordered these yesterday! They are much more blue in person and will hopefully reflect off my bridesmaids navy blue dresses.

Here are my shoes.  First my ceremony shoes.  My bridesmaids are wearing the same color dress.  (Or close to it).

Then I usually change into flipflops at weddings but like you said it is January so I might want something a bit warmer.  These are my reception/dancing shoes.  I am going to replace the laces with navy ribbon.  Also Fiance has given me a pair of Chucks every Christmas we have been together (this year will be the 6th) so it has meaning for us.  I ordered these in April and didn’t get them until July or August b/c they were back ordered (I think I saw them on a bride in the Gallery of the Day on the front page here and hunted them down).  Now my ceremony shoes I took forever to decide on.  I finally picked them with a 25% off Friends and family and a $50 gift card to Macy’s.

@hiheel:  Thanks! I made them with a pair of black heels I found at winners, a yard of lace & some fabric glue. I knew that if I had gone the retail route what I wanted would cost a fortune & probably wouldn’t be comfortable. 😀

@RunningGal:  I think those boots are cute.  I can see some cute photo opps with those too.  And your toes will be cozy!

PS- anyone have any fun sock idea for my chucks?  I can’t find any cute bride socks.  The only ones I have come across are pink (not in my color scheme) or the one that has a picture of a bride on them.

I’ll be inside the whole time, so I can wear what I want!

These are my beauties:

And I bought these for when my feet start screaming:
