My Fiance are doing a winter wedding and plan to ski and take photos during that time. Since that is happening I want a Spring/Summer engagement photos so I can take formal photos and some photos with us white water kayaking together as part of our engagement photos. On a side note I was proposed to on one of our ski trips so a little variety is nice 🙂

@MissKit:  I guess it depends on what you want? Do you want them now/soon for STDs and other wedding related things? Do you want snow for both pictures or just wedding? I see it’s in November, not sure where you live, but there isn’t always snow in November. I guess if you really wanted to, you can do both.

We did both, our STDs had the winter pics on them.

We’re doing a fall wedding and did our engagement pictures/std pictures in the fall as well.

Ours is a winter wedding also so I think we will do summer or fall pictures to change it up. Plus winter can be nasty cold where we live!

Do the engagement shoot in the summer. It’ll give a nice change of perspective!

We are also having a winter wedding, but doing our e-pics in the summer.  There are a lot of places outdoors we want pics done, which realistically may not happen during the winter, which was the deciding factor for having e=pics in the summer so we can use those locations.
