I can’t believe they won’t do anything!! Can you call the adoption agency???

I think its great that you are not excusing your mom’s ridiculous actions.

I feel that the best thing you can do in a situation like that is distance yourself from the situation as much as possible. You have made an effort to help your siblings, and you can keep an eye out for another oppertunity, but for now, just cut the toxic people out of your life.

@MarryMeTiffany: Oh hun, i’m so sorry to hear about this – when parents act like children, it makes me have rage.

Perhaps your aunt and uncle can go to the police and suggest they NEED to move in to help your grandmother?

I’m so sorry….

This is one of those situations where crazy but still intelligent to manipulate cross paths and create nothing but insane drama. My Mother-In-Law sounds similar to yours. We have distanced our selves from her for the time being and it has made things much easier. I would suggest taking a time out and trying to keep some sort of contact with your siblings if you can figure out a way to do so.

That sounds awful. It is certainly a tough situation. At least try to maintain contact with the siblings if you can avoid the poison from your mother.
