@tenleyalison:  I’m having a church wedding in Appleton, which is where I’m from.  Planning from another state, where I’m attending graduate school.

Getting married in a park in Shawano (between Wausau and Green Bay) at the end of August. The wedding wil be outdoors, with the reception in a pavillion.

 @johnhj20:  I love Eagle River,  so pretty up there!

 @tenleyalison:  How fun!

@auggiefrog  My reception is at that pavillion too!  That’s so cool to find someone else going there as well.

We’re hoping it will be nice enough to be married outside but we didn’t pick a great time of year for it.  November is kind of pushing it in Wisconsin :). If it’s too cold we’ll jsut set up in the pavillion for the ceremony as well since we have enough space there.

Since we don’t like all the attention of being in front of a lot of people during our vows, we are getting married at the courthouse in Madison.  Our reception is later that day at our favorite irish restaurant/pub.  Before we came up with this plan, we were thinking about having our wedding at Old World Wisconsin.

@heliabel:  Awesome! That’s exciting!  What a small world.  I’m having it inside too if it rains (but please don’t), but planning to have the ceremony out on the grass by the steps.  I’m so excited.  It’s such a beautiful spot and the building is lovely!

I got married almost 2 years ago. We live in the Madison area and actually had looked into having our wedding in Madison or Milwaukee. We ended up getting married on the golf course of the Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells.

Hollerrrr, another Wisco bride here. ๐Ÿ™‚ We’re getting married DT Madison, on the Square across the street from the Capitol is our reception site.  We’re so excited!

To the Zoo brides—you have picked a gem spot! I hold a work event at the Zoo in Tosa every year and it is always a big hit with our attendees!  Last year it was the first week of the September and here is a pic of how the trees were outside the Peck center:
