I am just using the pastor at my church.  I also do not know anyone who has used a judge. Sorry.  Where are you doing your reception?

I’ll second the post for the Orpheum Theatre being awesome.  I shot a wedding there last year, and it was SO beautiful.  There were so many great places for photography and it was just a really unique venue.  The guests loved it.  And it was so great that it was just a couple blocks to the Capitol, and right on the street.  And I’ve heard that Jackie from the Orpheum is great to work with, too.

Miss Isthmus- I love your theme!  I had a 1940’s theme and it was a blast.  🙂

Hi fellow ‘Sconnie brides!

@alliek – We’re date twins!

@aja0829 – I’m planning from Mpls too, but our wedding is in Eau Claire.  Have you figured out who’s officiating yet?  You might want to write to the LaCrosse Tribune "Celebrations" editor, Sue Webb; she may be able to point you in the right direction?  Her e-mail is listed on their website.

We’re having a sunset ceremony at my parent’s home in the country (officiated by a friend, but we wrote the ceremony ourselves) and then having a pie reception and dance afterwards! I can’t wait.

I’m not sure how to give you a link to my previous post or I’d just do that….but I will tell you it’s under the flowers tab, called amazing flower pics that you might want to look at. I didn’t bookmark the place in my favs but it’s a party rental and floral co. It was called Seeparty and had some great pics. The link is on that post. Hope that helps.
