Keep telling yourself that if you wait patiently, you’ll get a nicer ring than you would if you force him to go get something now.

@strawbabies:  AMEN, listen to her lol!!!! I love the new split shank ring they’ve developed but don’t know how to show him without seeming pushy lol

Is it necessary that he buy the ring? If you’re technically engaged then could you pick out and purchase your engagement ring together? I understand the romantic idealized proposal, but you’re already there, you just need a ring, so go get one I say!

I suggest one more conversation and it be Shane Company Layaway.

You two should go shopping together! My fiance and I both went shopping. I think it’s more fun that way. You should go pre-shopping-shopping so you get an idea of styles you like and the pricing… just in case he wants to pull some strings and save for a little extra! Wink

That’s great! *happy dance for you!*

I hop eyou see it soon too. I am in the same boat; my SO and I are engaged, date set, and we talk about wedding planning everyday. Now I am just waiting for that little bit of sparkle because he wants to do that before we make it “official” to the fam/friends.

@alyssaC:  Yes! And then I feel superficial for wanting the ring so badly. Thank goodness for WeddingBee! You lovely ladies make it better.
