Has anyone ever heard of a wedding wish tree minus the manzanita branches and usng a different type of branch instead? I can’t find manzanita branches anywhere and shipping charges to ship some to Canada would be insane! I’m getting bummed out because I really want a wish tree and I LOVE the look of manzanita branches but just can’t find them anywhere!

We did the wedding wishes cards and just used a fancy vase.

I just bought a real tree. Love the look of it and I can plant it after the wedding. It’s called a Twist Baby Locust. Doesn’t get too big (8′-10′) and it takes to pruning really well.
The nursery said it can be kept potted in the garage over the winter, and bring it out it March. My nursery had it’s stock on clearance now that it’s September. $50 for the tree, pot and a bag of top soil.
It’s about 3′ high now and may grow up to a foot before our wedding date.
