I have a friend who has announced that she’s quitting smoking like, a million times. each time, she starts back up again. one time it was the very same day she posted about the quitting.
to my friend: do you think you might want to not talk about your quitting until you are actually sucessful at it? we all secertly think you are a failure in this one aspect.

I agree with all of the above. My worst offenders are family, lol! I have blocked at least a half dozen of my cousins from my news feed.
I want to add a former coworker to the list. She had a fundraiser for her son via FB, opened up her own Paypal account and everything, so he could go to prom. She’s a single mom, and has 3 kids. I felt bad when she started to constant updates about how her son wasn’t going to be able to go to prom because he somehow “lost” his prom money. She didn’t give any other details. Then a couple of days later she began the “fundraiser” with a the Paypal link. This went on for a coupel of weeks, several times a day. Who knows how much she made. She never said. She posted a few pictures, on prom day, but that’s it.
The thing is she’s one of the those self proclaiming posters who constantly updates her status about how she only settles for the best of this or that. She talks about her designer shoes and clothes, and how dudes better be buying her top of the line wine and food. Blah, blah, blah. So the crying poor about not being able to afford to send her kid to prom seemed a little tacky.

My Future Mother-In-Law poses as Future Sister-In-Law on her facebook page (FSIL’s facebook page) and puts up, literally THOUSANDS of modeling-type poses. Wannabe-sexy, bikini-clad type pictures and then wonders why she gets creepy facebook comments from random guys that she friends?!?! She literally has thousands of pictures of herself (FSIL)- from wannabe-modeling to “playing with the dog”, “my first day of school” (yes, she’s in college)…
She is the queen of hijacking anyone’s posts and making it about herself. It is BEYOND annoying. And then Future Mother-In-Law brings up facebook stuff in conversation, like it’s normal for a 55 year old woman to know every detail about her daughter’s friends relationship statuses.
I could go on forever with all of her facebook drama…it’s just BIZARRE.

regarding the modeling-type poses: gross. I hate that!
