Im having a hard time pulling the trigger on a venue! Im so overwhelmed idk which venue to go with.
I recently viewed Greystone, Magnolia Hall, & Piedmont room.
I have my reasons for why I like them all but Piedmont room is pretty much the runner up. I feel I can get great photos with that location.
Eleven 15 Events and Elaborate Events is nice also but the outide is pretty blah… not much of an opportunity to have nice outdoor pictures.. ๐
Atlanta Brides… Help me decide!! W? my 15k budget which venue do you like more?

Hey, having 7mos left is not so bad! Fiance and I are getting hitched July 28, and we only decided that we were going to actually get married next year two weeks ago! You can pull it all together faster than you think; once we got the venue booked, I kind of went ‘well… what now?’

@RaysBride89: My Future Sister-In-Law is one of those, was planning BEFORE she got engaged, which was two days ago. Thankfully her new fiance put the smackdown on that and told her that because she chose ski trips and chalets instead of paying off her student loans and wants a $50k ceremony, they’re getting married in 2015! Wish I’d been there to see the look on her face!
Honestly, I feel like having a smaller budget makes it a lot simpler as well. We’re aiming for 10k, and it’s helped make some of the tougher decisions (how many to invite, where to have it, what day, etc) a lot easier!

@Peacockfeather: yeah 10k is our budget not including clothing. I want to spend less than 15k honestLy! I know I can have a fabulous wedding at that price & lots of DIY! ๐

@RaysBride89:
Hmm, I really like Greystone and considered it for my own wedding. I think you would be able to get great photos in the park and I really love the lobby area. I also liked the Piedmont Room, but only decided against it because of some of the reviews I saw for it, but really loved the bay window for the ceremony. (If you decide to go with them, make sure you ask about if there can be a tent wedding at the same time, some said the noise level can be troublesome).
But of those would work, but those two were my favorite.

@spelhouse2: mine also. I’m leaning towards a Sunday so I wouldn’t have to worry about anythinongoing on in the tent which was a plus. I also looked at villa Christina this past weekend and included them on my maybe list as well

I like the park the best… we looked at all of the same venues, but ended up choosing the old court house in decatur. It was the best price for our budget and includes tables and chairs. I wish you the best, you can do it!

I voted for Greystone, but I also really like the Piedmont room. If you go with Piedmont, make sure there is not a sporting event going on accross the street at Grady H.S. at the same time. The last wedding that I photographed there had a football game start right at the end of the ceremony, and when their halftime show started it was all we could hear… it completely drowned out the band.
