I’m trying to decide whether I should wear a sash with my dress or not. My fiance will be wearing a gray suit with blue striped shirt and gray tie.
Right now, my choices are dress with a blue sash, dress without any sash, or dress with gray sash.
What does everyone think?

I like the clean line look without the sash, to be honest.

I think the sash takes away from the dress. No sash is my vote!

I usually like a sash but the ruching of your dress is lovely and I like it better without.

What about a belt like this to add a little sparkle? I don’t know that I like the way the colored sashes cut you/the dress in half.

i can’t help but think my waist looks larger without the sash. crazy?

I like the blue. What color are you BM’s wearing?

I think the sash chops your body in half. I’m usually a fan of sashes but on this dress it just does nothing for it. The ruching is really nice and gives you a tiny waist.

I would vote for a crystal sash but I am almost never a fan of coloured sashes.
I also think it still looks nice without a sash though.

No BMs, so I just need to color coordinate to my fiance. It’s sounding like the consensus is no sash. Thanks bees!

The sash defines your waist, but it just doesn’t go with the style of your dress.
Your dress flatters you very well (certainly don’t need the sash to look thin)!

No sash is my vote, unless you were to maybe do the crystal sash 🙂

I vote either no sash or a crystal belt. I dont think the sash matches the style of your dress. Plus, you dont need to match your groom, everyone knows you two are together 😉

I agree with @SleepingWithNuns:
. The sash chops your body in half, where as no sash makes your torso look longer and therfore leaner. I vote no sash!
