I’ve decided to send out STD postcards with a picture of FH & I Kayaking off the west coast of Ireland (someone else in the group took a pic of us).
Are there any cutesy/witty ways I can word the STD that you can think of other than plain old STD because we are getting married? I have been driving myself insane trying to think of something for hours now and nothing…just and empty brain this morning. Help!

Can you give us an example of what you’re looking for? That might help. 🙂

The first thing I thought of was something about “taking the plunge” but that doesn’t make sense since it doesn’t sound like your doing anything like that in your photo.
Can you post the picture? Maybe that would help.
EDIT: Maybe something like “On to the next adventure! or We’ve Choosen Our Next Adventure! We are getting married!”

@Mrs.Mittens: Yes, please post the picture.

I know canoes and Kayaks are different but there is a song we used to sing at Girl Scout camp about a boy and a girl in a little canoe
Those are the lyrics and I doubt it fits but it’s all I could think of!

Maybe a cheeky play on the phrase “up the creek”? Something like “(FI name) is up the creek…he and Snow00774 are getting married!”

How about something about “Paddling forward” or “Rocking the Boat” or “Rolling the Boat” or “Heading into the Horizon”?????

Well look at that – you bees are awesome!!
I tried to post the pic but I have him cropped out of the one on my work PC – I’ll post the part of me and just imagine him slightly behind me lol!!
I love the ‘On to the next adventure” and also the “you can arrive by plane, car or kayak….” as we have quite a few guests who will be flying in from Ireland, so that’s perfect too!!1
The other suggestions are great, but not quite as fitting as you’ve all mentioned, hopefully the pic will explain!

How about the lyrics from a song”There is no mountain high enough, there is no valley low enough, there is no river wide enough, to keep me from YOU!” Save the date….
