Wow that looked super fake to me… but who really knows.

@MrsEdamame:  She’s a pregnant diabetic.  She’s got good excuse to get light headed!  (I would not call that fainting).

I think it was real, but I also think some staffer should be reamed for placing a pregnant woman there without at least a stool to lean against.  So… well I think they took advantage of her by putting her in that situation.  Not that they were deliberately trying to do her harm, but this isn’t the first time someone has fainted around the president.  So you would think by now they would have a staffer prepping everyone about the “don’t lock your knees” bit.

Pregnant diabetic? I didn’t read that part. In that case, it probably was real.

Very odd.  I’m not the consipiracy theorist type but this is weird.  Crazier things have happened for sure, but it seems quite extreme…especially since they’re reporting on her insurance now.

I saw the video that most definately is real. I have fainted before and my mom was with me and has said I had a similar look on my face.

Where is the do not care option?

It’s not like he whipped around right before she toppled over, catching her just before she hit the floor.

She swayed several times before that, seemed to be saying something to her friend, once or twice as well (possibly “I’m not feeling well,” or something he overheard?).  I think it’s entirely possible he heard her say something or moan or something along those lines, or just noticed her swaying out of the corner of her eye.  My personal opinion is that it was a legitimate incident and not a plant, (and I’m not really an Obama fan, so I’m not just saying that because I LURVS HIM and think he can do no wrong).

@MrsEdamame:  I’m confused as to how the president knew to turn around? She was SILENT.

I’ve been on the brink of fainting before (Heat exhaustion, once at a football game and then twice in a row at a rally thing. Damn Texas summers) and I had the same fading in and out that she appears to be having. Voted legit medical issue, but would have voted “don’t care” as well. Anyone who thinks the president has the TIME to plan a stupid insignificant thing like that, when we have so much shit going on right now, needs to take as serious step back.
