Nothing’s too small for the Secret Service. My husband went to college with Barbara Bush (W’s daughter, not the former first lady) and one of their dorm mates got investigated for writing a humor article about her agents’ bathroom habits. This is 100% unsurprising.

Also, if you feel comfortable enough with racial slurs to put the n-word on your PUBLIC FACEBOOK PROFILE, you’re a racist.

@Sugaree:  So now you’re going to pretend that this whole discussion wasn’t about whether or not it was right that she is being investigated? I’m pretty sure VAwife is just saying what everybody has been trying to say to you.

@DeadlyNightshade:  As a matter of fact, I’m going to stop before I say something that a mandatory reporter would have to have me investigated for.  I was trying to say the exact same thing as VAWife (see post #61), but for some reason you couldn’t see that. [Post moderated for personal attack]

That comment shows that there are a lot of horrible and ignorant people in our country. Freedom of speech only goes so far…it’s unacceptable to say something like that to anyone, let alone the president. Threatening the president’s life in any way or implying that he should be dead is a federal offense. Glad to know that the SS is doing their job protecting President Obama and his family.

@DeadlyNightshade:  Yea, I think my post may have been misunderstood. I think she should be investigated for making the threat. If it isn’t a credible threat, she probably won’t be punished, but I don’t think being investigated is a violation of her free speech.
