Who ever pays the original price for that ring payed way to much but that sale price is a pretty good deal …jewelry retail prices are typically triple sometimes more than the cost amount so when thing are on sale for 65-75% that’s pretty good .. Of course 75-90% is the absolutely best  deal

But you also need to research that there “retail” price isn’t triple what other stores sell it for retail and not a sale price because they make it seem like itsmore on sale than it really is

I know very little about diamonds, but I wanted to say I LOVE that setting. It’s similar to mine, but better. Seems like a pretty good price.

@ummjustjessica:  Given the intricacy of the setting and the stone size, I’d say that price is pretty reasonable.

You mean the whole set for less than $2,000?  It’s a steal!

That seems like an amazing deal you got. Even better than the deal now online for the same ring. It is prettier in your picture than the one on their website. You can always replace the center if you are not happy with the diamond quality. Either with moissanite or diamond. Heck, for the price you paid you really seem to have paid less than the price for a nice mounting. Congrats on your good deal and your upcoming marriage!

Seems, ok…although you got I-1 I-2 stones which are low grade so the price seems good for what you got.

@ummjustjessica:  Wasn’t saying it was bad, I was just saying they are low grade, so the price is actually low I don’t consider it high…not that stones of lesser quality aren’t good enough.

@ummjustjessica:  I know, sometimes inclusions just like birthmarks make a diamond individual.  When guys look at things at my job to select rings (which I love when that happens) sometimes they get scared to buy an included stone.  I tell them for a high maintanance woman with very little flaws you can see, you pay a premium, but some women are beautiful because you love their flaws/quirks.  Makes each one individual, just like their diamond.

also, regardless of clarity, a 1.25ct is a lot of diamond weight.  I think you guys did good

Edited: didn’t want to come off as rude or anything. I think for the quality of the diamond you got an ok price.

Seems pretty cheap to me (price wise)
