I am a bridesmaid and I currently have lost 18lbs. I tried the bridesmaid dress in a size 18 and it fit 18lbs ago. I just tried the dress in a 12 and it won’t zip the last 3 to 4 inches up ( right around rib cage and boobs). It’s mid feb now and the wedding is in june. I found someone who has a size 12 in the dress that I need for half the price. Should I just order the dress for the $170 in a size 14 or is it possible to lose “boob” weight in 3 months to zip up last 3 inches and get the size 12 for $70?

Depends how dedicated you are! How long did it take you to lose the 18lbs? May need to take that into consideration as well. It is def possible to lose “boob” weight in 3 months but it just depends on how much you push yourself.

Honestly, I would get the 14 just to be safe. Heaven forbid, you get injured and you can’t continue to work out, then you’d have to end up buying the 14 and have spent money on two dresses. From personal expeiernce i was rear-ended and sustained injuries to my neck and back and wasnt able to do basic workouts for 6 months and gained 15 pounds. The 14 you can always have tailored to fit you perfectly if you do lost more boob weight. That is what i would do, then if you didnt lose all of the weight you needed to, to fit perfectly in the 12, then you wont be uncomfortable all night in a too small dress.

Even if something doesn’t happen to prevent you from losing weight, you don’t get to choose where on your body that weight drops from. Buy the size that fits you now or at the time you’re ready to buy if you decide to put it off.
