I spoke w/ my florist last night & he informed me that he will be going shopping for flowers Thursday for our wedding on Sunday & the 2 weddings he has on Saturday. I’m concerned that 3 days is far too long & that our flowers will be brown, wilting, dying, etc. Do I have reason to worry or will the flowers be a-okay??

They will be fine if taken care of properly. He will most likely store them in a cooler and keep them watered.
I am doing our own flowers and fiftyflowers.com ships your flowers 2-3 days before an event to give them time to open.
Ask your florist questions if you are concerned.

@Miss Tattoo: Thank you! I was also hoping w/ keeping the flowers cool they will be okay.
I know the obvious answer is to ask him, but I try not to talk w/ him anymore than I need to…he doesn’t seem to care for me, so I’d rather just ask the almighty Bees 😉

@CaraMia10: oh no! That’s no good. I don’t like vendors who seemed to be bothered when you contact them. I just want to yell, “I’m giving you business fool!” lol
Yes, we are DIY flowers and the website says they will come about two to three days before and you have to cut them, put them in water with flower food and keep them in a cool room or flower cooler. They last a lot longer than you would think. ^_^
