Ooh yummy! I would eat all of those. I love wood-fired pizza!
ETA: if you can make menu suggestions, my favorite wood-fired pizza place makes a roasted tomato salsa pizza (cheese on the bottom, with black bean, corn, and tomato salsa on top). It is FANTASTIC.

@vermonster: That sounds AWESOME, holy crap!

I don’t like pizza so I’d really struggle with this menu:(

@carrotstick: Oh yeah it’s so good. We’ve tried to recreate it ourselves- my suggestion would be to make sure you drain the tomatoes well because otherwise their juice can make things kind of soggy.

ZOMG!! I am a pizza fiend and think you are BRILLIANT!!! Can I come to your wedding?

Have you made sure no one who’s coming is gluten-free? Because if so they’d have nothing to eat but salad.
And no matter what you choose I would definitely have the margarita in there – it’s safe but guaranteed to please everyone no matter what their tastes are, and if it’s done right than it’s better than any topping.
Also I’ve never heard of potatoes on pizza!

@carrotstick: I would eat all of those pizzas! And love them! I am not vegan or vegetarian but they all sound fantastic to me.

Since I’m gluten free I wouldn’t like this but I do think for most people it would be good! Just make sure you don’t have any gf guests. I also would be disappointed to not have any protein/meat options.

@carrotstick: The food doesn’t have to match the theme, you’ll be fine :). People will be okay not having meat for one meal. I’m not a vegetarian but my husband is & some days I just don’t have meat & its fine! & even before I met him, I didn’t have meat with every single meal… don’t stress about that, no one is going to care & if they do, that’s on them! I’m sure the majority of people (especially kids) will LOVE this… I would crash your reception for this pizza if I knew where you were haha ;)!
As for the pear pizza, it might be fun to try it but thinking about it, I don’t like cooked fruit in almost all cases. I would probably try it & then not like it. So maybe see how you like it at the tasting (who knows – maybe it sounds wierd but tastes awesome) & you can always ask them to cut the pear one into smaller slices at the wedding? I had a wierd pizza combo & didn’t think I’d like it but I LOVE it: Shrimp & pepperoni, sounds wierd (well you’re a vegi so you wouldn’t eat it) but it is SOOOO good!
If you’re worried about gluten free or allergies, you could ask for food allergies or specifics on the RSVP card. I only had a cake reception but if I had food I would have done that just in case. Some people are allergic to nuts so might not think about that in a salad.

Love them all, what a great idea!

We did wood-fired pizzas too! My parents have a massive pizza oven on their property (where we got married) and my uncle used to run a gourmet pizza shop, so he and my cousin made some amazing pizzas!
We had a potato and rosemary pizza (it was huge hit); prawn, garlic, chilli and rocket pizza; a simple kids’ pizza (ham, pineapple and cheese); but the most popular was tandoori chicken with mushrooms, yogurt and avocado…SO GOOD!

I LOOOVE this idea and will look into stealing it for my at home reception! I would eat any and all of those pizzas, but I know Fiance wouldn’t. As long as there is a “normal” pizza option you’re set!

It actually sounds great and I would love it. I would do the apps for $9 pp though.
