So I was browsing the classified ads on here and came across wooden roses. I looked at them then started googling pcitures of wooden rose bouqets and they are actually gorgeous. I loved the way they look. My budget for flowers was around a $1000 but since my wedding is the week before valentines day all the roses are super expensive. And plus it makes it harder to arrange them and travel with them etc. So I was wondering if anyone had used wooden roses for their bouqets, boutineres, or centerpieces. And if so, do you have any pictures to share. My colors are red and ivory. Thanks

I love the idea, but I’ve never seen a bouquet like it. I hope it turns out beautiful, good luck.

I did! I used a variety of styles in natural wood, but you can also get them with a coat of spray paint to be whatever color you wish. I bought loose flowers and created the bouqets myself. In addition to the wooden flowers I used dried statice flowers as filler.

I am using a form of wooden rose. They’re nicknamed cedar roses, and it’s a detached part of a pinecone from a cedar tree 🙂
The other florals you see are parchment roses and real touch callas.
