@kay01: it’s actually really easy if you’ve got a steady hand to carve your own stamps.   pick an image online and use that as a template for your stamp.  i watched a 3 minute youtube video and am now able to carve most designs.  made my own damask stamp, flowers, names/dates, birds, etc.  all you need is a speedball carver (comes with different heads), a pencil, and a block of speedy carve “rubber”.  all can be found at Michael’s for under $20.
