- Wedding: November 2012
Alright this may be a little confusing, but this is currently a rough draft for our RSVP cards:
Please respond by October 10.
The Doe Family
O Yes will be there
_ of 4 Attending
O No, Can’t Make it
Okay so my biggest reasoning for this format is that we need the number of guests attending and each of their names. We are afraid to do the simple blank line for names and number of attending because we don’t think that each individual name will get printed on the line (especially children and plus ones).
We figured we would write the family name on the top so that we make sure each rsvp will have a name, and then they could fill in the names of each attending and how many. The reasoning for the _ of 4 attending is to make sure no unwanted guests will be attending.
Also keep in mind that it will NOT be a formal wedding, so casual wording and addressing is perfect for us.
My question is, does it all seem too redundant? Or is it worth it to make sure that we know the number of guests attending and have all the names beforehand (for escort cards and such…)? What do you guys think?!
Sorry if I’m not making much sense, it’s been hectic trying to figure this out!
