(Closed) wording on invitation

    No, because though it is mother’s day, it is your day on your wedding invitation.  Maybe you can put a note in the program, but when people look at the date, they will see that it’s mother’s day.

    I voted no. Hopefully people are smart enough to look at a calendar before RSVPing. Like PP mentioned I think you could mention it in your program if you want to acknowledge it.

    @LouLou513:  I vote no.  Mother’s Day isn’t really a major holiday.  Xmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, etc. would make sense.  I can relate, though– our wedding is on Easter Sunday so I DID write that on our invitations.
