You haven’t had your engagement ring cleaned in 6 months?  I would definitely start there, bring your band and put them together after.  If they still look off (especially in the awesome jewelry store lighting!) I’d ask them what they recommend.

@Araya:  I would guess that it probably just needs a good cleaning.  When we went to look for bands for my ering, I asked them to clean it after trying the first few because my ring looked darker, also.  Once it was cleaned, it looked much better next to the pristine bands in the store 🙂  I wouldn’t worry about it too much!

@Araya:  If that doesn’t work I would ask if the metals are the same carot weight? 24 ct Gold can look a bit diff then 10ct.

@Araya:  It would need rhodium plated if and when it shows yellow (some people like it that buttery colour)

Perhaps it just needs a good buff from the jeweller.
