I am going to become a stay at home mom in Septmeber when our little munchkin arrives. I am looking for some job ideas that I can do from home. I have though of a few but nothing that really has me 100% sold yet.
I have debated doing the “AVON” or Tupperwear” type thing but I have yet to find “the” business that has me sold on it.
I have also deabted doing some child care during the week. But I am unsure about that as well.
Other than that I am not sure of what else is out there. I am just looking for some ideas.

Are you crafty at all? What about opening an Etsy shop?
Also check out Silpada (and there’s another name I can’t remember) for the at home jewelry-selling/party type business.

Have you ever thought about opening a Dayhome? It worked really well for my mom.

Have you heard of Discovery Toys? A friend just started her business, and she loves the toys. Same thing as tupperware and Avon

@MrsMaine: I am not really all that crafty :(I have thought about jewelry but I haven’t found a line that I am totally in love with. I have checked out Lia Sophia and Stella and Dot as well.
@FutureJessicaMcB: That is one thing that I am considering. I would only want to take a couple kids. I would also need to get a bigger vehicle, in case of emergencies. I live in a village and we don’t have a hospital. I have been trying to figure out how to fit a bigger vehicle into my budget…
@MrsSl82be: I haven’t heard of it before. I may have to look into that one.

@PennyLainne: I never had either until she got into it. Hope you find something to work for you!
Also, if you plan on doing daycare, make sure to find out what you have to do to make sure its legal. Here, you have to get licensed and you can add a rider to your homeowners insurance that covers your business
