Diamond1031:  I love Victoria Secret sports bras, they’ve been the best for me. I agree with a previous poster who said RBX for workout clothes! They’re my favorite brand, I also like Nike. I find that stuff at Ross/TJ Maxx/Marshal’s though for a little cheaper! I’m not sure what size shoe you wear but I wear size 7 and am able to wear the equivalent size 5 youth shoes and they are a lot cheaper for the same shoe!

I think lulu is way overpriced. Old navy, gap, Ross, marshalls, and target is where I’ve found nice decent leggings/ shorts/ shirts/bras.

So for fitness clothes, I tend to go with fila for their winter items because they really do stay warm, and nike for summer running items.  I have a lululemon sports bra and it was worth every penny.  It was just under 60.  I’m on the large side, so I got the ta ta tamer II bra.  Nothing moves, and the padding gives good coverage.  For shoes, I have wide feet so I use New Balance.

There was a thread last year about this that had similar feedback. I learned about Nordstoms Zella line

Im a big Old Navy, UnderAmour (love their winter tights especially), Gap and Champion from Target shopper.

Dont pay full price always shop sales and clearance racks. Gap has sales every single week and I end up getting their gear so cheaply.

Huge fan of Under Armour, Nike, and [email protected] I like nike tops and champion tights. Running shoes are one of the very few things I will splurge on. I’m a committed Brooks customer for running shoes. It makes a huge difference to wear good shOes that aren’t worn out! I get them on sale at the end of the year!

My favourite leggings are Nike (I don’t reccomend the Adidas ones). I have also been impressed with H&M sport leggings (which incidentally aren’t much cheaper than Nike)

I have always had Nike trainers, they are expensive but a pair will last 2 years or more in the gym.

And wear loose vest tops from H&M on top.

For me I don’t mind buying expensive trainers and leggings, I think they are worth it. But tops, not so much, I’m happy with cheap ones.

Diamond1031:  I recently bought a pair of pants at Victorias Secret and so far I’ve been incredibly impressed with how well they’ve washed and worn.  They’re not cheap but I really like the quality.  I have an adidas top that I really like and 2 cheap Joe Fresh (Cdn Brand) tops.

I have recently discovered VS Sports Bras and I will never go anywhere else again.

I really enjoy using Lululemon for workout clothes and Underarmor for sports bras. They’ve been very durable for me and provide great support.

MissAviatorBee:  I’m glad it isn’t just me who thinks Lulu Lemon is overpriced. Some of the tops are cute but if I wanted see through yoga pants I could get them for a tenth of the price.

Don’t get me wrong; I have no objection to paying for quality, but most of it just seemed pretty poor for the price.

Now Sweaty Betty is another matter. All their yoga pants are now designed to be opaque in downward facing dog and they come in really cute patterns.

I get most of my workout attire from TJMaxx and Old Navy. I’ve purchased countless Nike pieces from TJMaxx and also Jockey. When Old Navy had their activewear sale this summer, I stocked up. Their sports bras are better than some I’d purchased from TJMaxx and everything has held up nicely. I really love their slogan tanks as well that have sayings like “Run rest repeat” on the front, cute and functional!
