I’m sorry you aren’t seeing results.  Have you tried spinning?  That is a great cardio workout.  I would also try pilates, that can help you thin down your legs.

Hi there!  I’m kind of in the same boat.  I’m 5’3″, my legs are muscular and in the past I’ve done a ton of cardio-treadmill, elliptical, falling staircase…everything.  I have found something that’s been working really well as of late.  I bought a heart rate monitor to track really how many calories i’m burning, and now I see that the cals on the machines aren’t very accurate.  So, it’s been helpful to know how much i’m “actually” burning, and I’ve started doing a lot of interval training.  30 sec or 1-min sprints followed by 30 sec or 1-min of steady pace and continue for 30mins. I’ve found that the treadmill at incline 2 speed 6.5 for 30 sec. followed by incline 2 speed 9 kicks my butt.  Just a suggestion.  Hope it helps Laughing

Hmm, I think musceled thighs are attractive so my advice would be to make sure that that’s something you dislike.  🙂 

However, what about arm work outs?  Buiding muscles in your arms (arms are unlikely to get bigger, women don’t usually bulk much – jessica biel for example is muscely but hardly bulky) will also increase calories burned and not affect your legs. 

Maybe swimming?  Something that’s more full bodies than focused on legs.
