The strip is totally walkable! Your hotel, wherever you’re staying, will have a free shuttle that will drop you off on the strip…and you can walk pretty much everywhere from there. My favorite casinos (last time I was there, 7 ish years ago) were the Luxor, MGM, and Cesar’s Palace. I’ve never been a drinker or gambler (and wasn’t old enough last time I was there!) so I can’t attest to that aspect of Vegas, but there is plenty to see and do. Madame Tussaud’s wax museum at the Venetian is very cool, if you’ve never been to a wax museum, but that one is far enough down where you may need to take your hotel shuttle. All of the shuttles are free, because the goal is to get you in the casinos to spend money! The M&M and Coca Cola stores are a lot of fun too. Very touristy, but hey, it’s Vegas 🙂 There is an in-n-out burger in Vegas, which if you have never been, you should probably go to at least once….I LOVE in-n-out! Also a hardrock cafe, which is worth hitting (again, if you’ve never been to one.)

Personally I had a ball walking the strip. Lots of people watching, and lots of men handing out prostitute cards, for the varied establishments in neighboring counties, where it’s legal. Back in 2006, some of the girls advertised for as little as $20! Anyway, the cards themselves are hilarious.

It’s fun just to walk through all of the hotels/casinos and see the different styles and people! We saw Zumanity when we were there and it was awesome! Not sure if that’s something you’d want to do with your coworkers though.. maybe another Cirque show would be better. We rented a car and went to Hoover Dam- it was really great. Not sure if you have time for that though…

Most of the strip is walkable- it is pretty far so wear good shoes (I looked silly wearing my running shoes but I don’t care!). I guess it depends where you’re staying.

There are lots of different restaurants too. A little google search will go a long way for restaurants and such.  I don’t really gamble but I tried black jack- my SO and I just found a table where it was just us and it was really fun! I already knew the basics but the dealer was also pretty helpful.

There’s so much to do! If your a shopping person your going to love it just for that lol.. Last time we went Fiance and I mostly shopped, and didn’t do much else.. The Forum Shops at Caesars is the best!

When we go for our wedding (Dec 2014)  we’re planning on going to New York, New York and going on the Roller Coaster and also are planning on hitting the Stratosphere  to go on a few rides there.. The Bodies Exhibit at the Luxor looks really cool, I wish we did it last time.. So we’ll for sure be doing that when we go too haha

The best thing you can do is check out vegas.com.. Fiance and I booked comedy show tickets through there for really cheap last time, it wasn’t a “famous” comedian, but it was really funny.. The show we went to was in Planet Hollywood.

Also, the hard rock is pretty cool, if you want to see some cool rock memorabilia.

Walking the strip in general is just really fun, there’s so much to look at.. Check out the fountain show at the Bellagio, there’s one something like every 45 mins..

I know you’ll have a great time!
