I need to vent quickly about work..
Obviously everyone knows planning a wedding is costly and stressful. I’m currently working on invitations, programs stuff that needs to get done asap, also trying to work out at least 4 times a week.. ANYWAY, my work crowd can be quite a socialable lot which is great normally however i have so much stuff going on right now i just A) can’t afford to go to everything B) don’t have the time and C) i need to be at the gym not drinking every night. So we have 2 work events scheduled this week (happy hours) – i simply cant go to both so i picked one. Now i’m getting flack from my boss because he thinks i need to go to EVERY “networking” event, and getting flack from everyone else for being “boring”. ARGH!! i just can’t do it, we are so tight on money and i need to fit into my dress (i.e. i NEED to go the gym). Anyone else experience anything like this? I suppose i just need to vent right now!
