I would suggest asking him to do part time at least…to me, his health isn’t worth fancier napkins or fuller centerpieces for one night of your life ๐Ÿ™‚ A few months of this could really take a toll on him. Just talk to him and tell him of your concerns ๐Ÿ™‚

Is this a temporary thing he is doing for the wedding to make extra money for your wedding?

In my relationship we talk about everything, so I don’t see the harm in talking to him about it.  Darling Husband has been in school full time and working full time the last few years, so I know how hard it can be.  When I talk to him he says he just has to do what he has to do, but I do find ways to help him (I do pretty much everything else from cleaning, cooking, paying bills, etc.)  I organize fun things to do if he ever has time, but I also let him “be in a bad mood” sometimes too.  Sometimes he just cannot help but be really grouchy.  It is hard, but stress is life.  I would talk to him and do what you can.  Even if that means just letting him do his thing.

Can you take on a part time job? Then ask him if you work an extra part time job, and he does then its more “fair”. And hopefully you both will be more well rested.

@al1988: I am sure I am missing something, but what does not being in the states have to do with not getting a part time job? Is the exchange rate not worth it? Do they not have part time jobs?
