I do have zoom and teams meetings but don’t use video. I don’t wear PJ’s, I think that is a bit much but I don’t feel badly about wearing sweats and tossing my hair up in a messy bun. Sometimes I even shower on my morning coffee break, so I’ll end up coming back to my desk with my hair up in a towel haha.

Business casual on top, pjs on bottom!
That’s actually only every other day. The rest of the time I shower and get dressed, but then it’s just a regular top and jeans (we were always a pretty casual office anyway). I was finding it was negatively affecting my mood too much to stay all grubby and in pjs all week long. So somewhat dressing for work a few days a week has definitely helped my mental health. Plus I have a lot of video meetings throughout the day and this way I don’t look like a complete bum. Win! Win!

T-shirts and shorts, no bra (lol!). My department is not required to use video while meeting with people so I’ve been working in house clothes and I love it!

After a slide down a black hole in quarantine, I realized that for my mental and emotional health, I have to maintain my regular routine. So I have been making a HUGE effort to wake up at my usual time, workout, shower and dress for a typical work day. It’s business as usual for me, just online meetings instead of in-person meetings. So I have been making an EFFORT to put on make up, dress for work and turn on my camera for all meetings. IDK, I still feel like I am flailing and struggling, balancing home schooling, working full time in a demanding job and trying to carve out time for self-care and personal growth but at least I’m showered? May not be enough but I had to try something different from where I was.

Sweatshirt and sweatpants all day everyday! And some days.. oily hair don’t care 😉
For years I’ve been wearing plain sweatshirts with skinny jeans for work, but so glad I haven’t had to wear skinny jeans since mid March. Hubby is still in jeans because he says it helps him focus. I do change into a different pair of sweatshirt and sweatpants for the day- I have a designated pair just for PJs because I am OCD about ‘germs’ on my bed ha.
I also get headaches and usually discreetly try to tie up my hair in a little ponytail where it’s hurting, but now.. not so discreet! 😂

I change out of my night pajamas into my day pajamas. I do keep a light collared shirt by my desk in case someone wants to do a video chat, no bra. I tell myself I have to wear loose stretchy pants so I can do stretches during the day.
