gyrobb:  I was told that I couldn’t lift weights anymore after I found out I was pregnant (I had lifted all through the beginning of my pregnancy).  Other than that I didn’t really have any restrictions.  Although I was very exhausted and just didn’t have the energy once I hit about 12-13 weeks.  As I got further along I wasn’t allowed to bike either on the off chance that I may fall off and break something or hurt the baby because my center of gravity would be off.

I would say just listen to your body as every pregnancy is different, i used to be a 4 day a week, 2.5 hour session ashtanga yogi who boogie boarded every weekend,with my last pregnancy i had to stop as i started getting very puffed ( asthma kicked into high gear and SUPER tired) and experienced cramps and bleeding, and i had to modify my poses to suit and rest often as per my doctor and midwifes orders i was told to stop completely as i was experiencing bleeding each time a few hours after working out for 3 consecutive weeks. But then i have friends that worked out and surfed throughout and had no problems. Just make sure to not push yourself too hard and not be afraid to rest often.

Edit: also no heavy lifting is advised due to your pelvic floor sometimes weakening
