My co-worker is seriously getting under my skin! She is one of these people that is a self proclaimed hero
Constantly talking about how busy she is, how much work she does, how she doesn’t have time because she’s soooo busy…etc etc.
Brings everything back to how she does more work then everyone else
Runs around in a flurry to prove how busy she is
Takes on more than she needs to by her own decisions just to turn around and talk about how stressed and busy she is
Announces at least several times a day what time she comes in and leaves
But she keeps taking on more work and double and triple booking herself and then boasts about how she is just that dedicated (no, she’s just that disorganzed)
Never asks for help and turns down offers of help but then claims that she has to do so much work herself with no help
“Offered” to quit if it meant to better the agency (throw herself on the sword)
Ugh! SOOOOO annoying!!

Oh wow, that does NOT sound like fun to work with.
That being said, I think I’d prefer that over my coworker who complains about how busy she is… LOUDLY… while spending the entire day on personal calls and watching her novellas on youtube. She gives 98% of her work to the interns.
Makes my eye twitch.

I hate people like that. I always want to say “You are impressing NO ONE!”

Oh lord, DH’s “boss” is like that too (I put boss in quotes because he’s in the military so things don’t exactly work the same). His superior, I guess is the better word, never delegates a single thing, so Darling Husband spends all day bored as hell watching movies in his office. Then the superior will come down to talk to him about something and be all mad at him for not doing any work … when he HAS NO WORK TO DO because the superior REFUSES TO DELEGATE ANYTHING but then complains all day about how busy he is! Drives Darling Husband crazy — he’d rather be actually doing stuff than wasting entire days playing Angry Birds, but it’s a little hard to fabricate work when there is in fact NOTHING to do …

@iarebridezilla: My boss does that to me, but only with easy work. So I get all the harder stuff (which is fine because I make fewer errors), and she practically hoards the easy stuff. But then it will take her days to complete something that takes less than five minutes (no exaggeration). It’s strange.
