Do you have specific examples of what she’s saying? I have grouchy supervisors, but have never been verbally abused by them.

This is one of the hardest things to deal with at work, because it’s hard to put a finger on her issues, and unfortunately you can’t go to the higher ups with just ‘She’s grouchy’. It’s a tough choice to make, but if you are looking for a promotion I would just duck and cover. Go with the flow until you have specific examples you can take to someone about her. I am always a supporter of not making waves 🙂

I don’t think that is verbal harassment. I deal with this on a regular basis. That’s just putting up with someone in a bad mood all the time. I kill them with kindness. If you are nothing but positive they never have anything bad to say about you and therefore have no reason to get rid of you.

This probably isnt what you want to hear but from the sound of it, she’s not really verbally abusing you. However, she does sound like a royal B.

If she we’re making fun of you or bursting into screaming rages towards toy then she would be seriously crossing the line. She seems like she’s just a difficult person. There are LOTS of them!

I had someone at work once call me pathetic. I laugh because it came from someone who is far more pathetic than I am.

@SweetRose2011: Oh ok! I understand now. I hope it gets better for you! I agree with the previous posters, kill em with kindness!
