I am picking up my dress tonight! Should be excited right?? I bought and paid for it in full 6 months ago and somewhere around the 4 month mark started wondering if i made the wring decision. Now, in 4 hours I have to go put it on and I am TERRIFIED that I am not going to like it.
This dress was not cheap but not thousands of dollars; but it is paid for. My Fiance says that I can walk down the aisle in a burlap sack and he would love me either way but to say I am freaking out is putting it mildly.
Have any of you bee’s had this problem too? Did you fall in love with the dress when you put it on again?????

@FutureWife517: what’s your dres??
I had dress regret for a long time, be excited, you’ll feel better wen you try your own dress in YOUR size on.
ETA: never mind, I saw your dress!what a beauty..similar to mine, with the ruffles!

@bump: OH I love yours!!! I just see all these ladies crying and getting so emotional over theirs and I never had that. It just seemed too easy. We shall see; thank you for your encouragement!

@FutureWife517: Didn’t happen to me either but I do love the dress and I have stopped looking. I think the biggest mistake you can make once you’ve paid for a dress is to keep looking at other dresses.

I tried on my dress, thought it was the one, then after a few months decided I didnt like it but would try it on again just to be sure. The second I saw it again I cried! It is DEF the dress for me :). I think there is a lot of pressure on ‘the dress’ and think that can make your mind play tricks on you. I’m sure when you see it again you will love it

@tronski: It was a huge difference with it being my size and fitting well. I can’t say I am madly in love with it, but I do like it. My future husbands step mom is a seamstress and it going to help me jazz it up. Everyone tells me it is beautiful, so I think I have to just stop over thinking it and trust that it is the right gown.
