I know that we certainly cannot predict what’s going to happen. Fiance and I both have major health issues (see previous posts) and right now I cannot focus on wedding planning at all. We both need to recover and recuperate, that is our priority. I’ve already changed the wedding date once and we’ve put deposits down on the venue, photography and flowers, I have my dress/accessories too. I’m thinking that perhaps we should scale down the plans and just have a simple ceremony, but Fiance really wants a wedding with family and friends. My recovery from illness has been slower than I hoped and I just want to get married on 4/27/13. Any thoughts from my fellow bees would be appreciated.

*HUGS* I’m wishing your and your Fiance a speedy recovery. Have you decided on a venue yet? You might be able to look for one that provides the catering, tables, chairs, etc. so that you can cut down on planning. Also, if you hire a good wedding planner, they can help alleviate the stress. Just remember to relax, and enjoy this process; just because you want to celebrate with family and friends doesn’t mean you have to have a stress filled day. Best of luck to you and your Fiance.

@housebee: We did put a deposit on a venue, they only provide the space/tables/chairs, we have to do a separate caterer…I love the setting but I’m willing to change it to make it easier. Thank you for responding.
