There is nothing you can do to stop your period without being on BC.  Most BC does not seriously affect your ability to conceive afterward, with most types you can try immediately after stopping the BC.

Actually there is nothing that you can do since you don’t want to take BC.

The depo shot stays in your system for 3 months and will mess you up a lot more than the pill.  The average amount of time it takes to return to full fertility after stopping depo is 9 to 10 months.  Plus using the pill for only a month or so might not regulate your period enough and you would possibly have spotting.

Speak w your gyno thats your best resource. I had depo many, many years ago and there was spotting and it took forever for my cycle to get right after I stopped using it. So you are better off on BC or just leave it to nature, cause without taking something you can’t control you period. Taking pills for 3-4 cycles will not be that much of a detriment to trying to concieve, but you said it makes you ill so I don’t know what else you can do.
