After seeing quite a few bee’s on here who are having quality issues with their rings from MOco lately, Im getting worried… really worried. Im worried that I have made the wrong choice choosing a ring from this company.
Dont get me wrong, I have no issues or worry about the gemstone itself, rather the quality/longevity of the ring.
Fi is currently paying off the “Adalia” antique reproduciton ring on layaway.
So I guess my questions are, for those who have the antique reproduction rings…
How are they holding up?
Have you had any problems with them?
Should I be worried?

@wifey2be: My ring was very different from the one you are choosing. Lots and lots of pave. It did not hold up whatsoever and last time I shipped it in for repairs it was the last time I ever saw it – they kept it because it was defective and there was nothing they could do. I got a full refund, but here I am 3 months later and still no ering.

I don’t have one (yet) but the only issue I’ve ever seen anyone have is with pave… Which yours doesn’t have. I think you’ll be fine.

I have a mixture of pave and bezel in a white gold antique repro setting and I’ve had no problems what so ever. I’m also not “rough” on my ring at all. If I’m doing something I wouldn’t wear jewelry for (ie: dishes, working out, gardening, putting on lotion, showering, sleeping…) it’s in its place holder. Even digging through my purse which is a mess usually, I’ll use my non ringed hand instead. It’s not because I fear it falling apart, I just try really hard not to scuff anything or bang it against anything. I’ve smacked it on my desk at work, and in the car, but it seems to be doing wonderfully.
Another thing is, my ring wasn’t exactly available on the site? It was posted as an option on the BTD forums and I emailed for a quoted price.
I think yours will hold up beautifully. As people mentioned before, it doesn’t have pave, and that’s what I read is mostly what people have problems with.

@KhaleesiStormborn: In another recent thread, someone posted a MoissaniteCo. solitaire which basically disintegrated after a couple of wears.
@wifey2be: Unfortunately, reviews are very mixed. Quality really seems to be a coin toss with this company.

On one hand, you should be fine. One of the main complaints with MCo rings are with micropave stones, which this one doesn’t have.
On the other hand, even the side view on their site looks less than stellar in terms of quality. And their attitude towards quality control is why I went with Schubach’s instead of MCo.

My ring is perfect. I am actually really suprised that anyone has had an issue. I bought my ering from them. About to buy a second!
