@JewishBride: Oh sheesh.  That’s absolutely terrible.  I don’t think he should’ve been fired over that whatsoever.  Technically, he was right in doing so because of the “false advertisement”.  What a shitty reason.  I am somewhat angry for you two.

I wish you two the best of luck.  FI was laid off this week so I know exactly how you’re feeling. I’m not pregnant, but it’s hard enough to survive as it is.  Hang in there though.  We’re always here for you if you need to vent some more.

Aww I’m so sorry you guys have to go through this! I can’t imagine going through that with my Fiance. Just focus on the good things – you are blessed with the gift of your pregnancy! I hope he finds another job soon!

I will be praying that God drops the perfect job in his lap. In the meantime can he fight this? If he never had any write ups this seems extreme. Can he collect unemployment?

I am sorry this has to be so stressful. I hope your Darling Husband will find something new soon.

This has to be the worst T-day ever. Found out I am likely having a miscarriage. My hcg levels have started dropping and I will get the next test on Friday. I am a hot mess (I hate that tem, but it is so appropriate at thi point).

Excuse my language, but shit…I am so sorry :(. Tell him to apply anywhere and everywhere. Indeed.com is a good engine that comes up with multiple job searches from multiple job sites.

Oh man, I am soo sorry! Life is really funny like that where everythign finally goes right and the sheets get ripped out from under you.

But don’t fear, your husband sounds like an amazing, honest and intelligent man who will find gainful employment in no time. Stay close to family and freinds, and take time to give thanks for what you do have tommorow!

Praying for you and your family !

Oh crap!  Darling Husband got fired this spring and it was really stressfull, so I understand how you feel.  At least you can try to relax (ideally forget) for tomorrow at least and be around family and enjoy yourself.  I went wild and filled out a zillion apps for Darling Husband, I actually got carpal tunnel from working so hard on them.  Things will work out for you, try not to over-stress so you can maintain a healthy pregnancy.  That matters way more than the trouble that inevitably surfaces in life!

They can fire anyone for any reason.  Darling Husband got fired because they lied and said he stole.  No evidence, no witness, nothing.  There is no way he even could have stolen, because all the cash is on video the entire time (not to mention he would never steal!  He has worked countless retail jobs at a register and needed the job not some stolen dollars.  He is trustworthy!)  Sometimes they just get you no matter what you do.  Hang in there!

Oh wow, that is such a ridiculous reasoning! I’ve worked in customer service since I was 15 and I’ve always been told that the customer gets the price on the sign, even if the sign is wrong. And to get FIRED!? Wow. I hope he finds a job soon!

Sorry for the bad luck, but remember that being healthy, having enough to eat, and being around loved ones is all we really need.  I’m sure your husband will find another job soon.  Try to enjoy Thanksgiving with your family and don’t stress too much.
