I did it be I lost my engagement ring today. I get married in 20 days and I lost my ring I have been an emotional wreck all day today and has gotten to the point where I think I give up I need some moral support from my bees
Post # 3
Did you lose it in the house?

Oh no!! 🙁
Where/when did you last feel it on your finger? Back track your day and check everywhere. Do you have any pets?

@clockwerk: Yikes!!! I’d go into damage control mode and try to find a cheap cz ring like the other if you’re tired of looking for today. But if you’re not I’d make a checklist of ALL the places it could be, everywhere you were today to be absolutely sure every stone was turned.

@Cory_loves_this_girl: I’m not sure I didn’t notice it until I was outside on my way to work in a pulled the keys out of my hand and it felt like something flew and when I look down my ring is gone

@srslovebug: I noticed it was gone when I was outside but I don’t know if outside is where it is

Is it insured? Take a break from looking, maybe go out for dinner, and then return to looking with a fresh perspective. If you are panicked, you will look over things. If you lost it in your house, check deep in your couches, in all of your closets and under your kitchen appliances (and in your freezer).

Is it insured? That’s my first question.
Secondly — HUGS. Hon, this is everyone’s nightmare, and I’ve lived it in my head a thousand times, and here’s what I finally concluded:
The ring is precious. But it’s precious for what it represents. Your love for each other is just as strong as it was this morning, before you lost the ring. You will get a replacement — it will not be identical — but it will nevertheless mean just as much, because it will represent the same thing: your love for and commitment to one another.

@clockwerk: It will show up! Trust that the universe will somehow make it right. If I were you, I’d go shopping (either in a store or online) and buy a nice CZ substitute for the meantime. They have a bunch at JCP for like $20.

Oh no! Poor thing, I’m so sorry! Be patient and when you least expect it, it will pop up. Take a breather and drink a glass of wine. Remember that your love is the most important thing!

I’m so sorry this happened! I agree on asking about insurance– my guess is that there’s a good chance your Fiance got it because it’s actually really affordable.
Is there a meaningful ring in yours or your FI’s family that you could use as a stand-in until you find it or during the wedding?
Just try to keep breathing; it’s sounds like this happened recently and I agree with PP’s who’ve said it will probably show up. And if it doesn’t, just know that, as much as you love it, you and your Fiance have built something so special, it can’t be purely and totally symbolized in one object, like a ring.

I hope you find it, and it was insured! When it’s recovered, I would get it adjusted at least half a size down.
@clockwerk: Did you start looking immediately?? Good luck!!!
@clockwerk: That’s awful! I agree with some previous posters … You should take a break from looking for it for now. I know that’s easier said than done, but you’ll drive yourself crazy looking for it if you don’t focus on something else for a while.
I hope you find it soon!

Okay that really REALLY sucks but it’s just a material object. The worst day of your life is the day a loved one dies. Remember this perspective and that every thing is going to be okay, you still have your Fiance. I hope you find it!
