Sorry you had such a bad experience! Sounds like maybe a review on Yelp is in order. I wish sales people/retail centres would realize how important customer service is. Some people are so incredibly rude. Wedding dress shopping is stressful enough without making it outright negative.

Davids bridal does seem to be notorious for this awful kind of service.

They are hit or miss, from my experience.  The one by me in VA did not impress me at all, but the one in Orlando (where my family/BMs live) was pretty good.  I had a better experience there looking for Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses for my ladies than I did here looking for wedding dresses for myself.  I ended up getting a much nicer dress (albeit more expensive) at a local bridal salon that paid lots of attention to me and made me feel like I was their only bride, didn’t rush me, and gave honest opinions of what they thought of the dresses I tried on.

OP, here’s to wishing you lots of good vibes in finding a place that gives you the attenion you deserve!

@self:  I’m glad you found your dress!  Yeah, the place by me didn’t seem to care much.  I had an appt but they seemed to be super busy and I had to wait about 45 minutes after my appt to be seen by my salesperson and then she didn’t really say much to me about any of the dresses I tried on and had no opinion and only did the bare minimum in helping get into the dresses.  The ladies in Orlando were much nicer and more vocal and had definite opinons on the dresses for my girls (we were looking for a maternity-appropriate dress for my MOH).

So glad you found your dress!
