You are very pretty, and I am so sorry to say this, but she has done a terrible job of your make up. It is very clumsy.
I would ask for your money back and find someone else that doesn’t make your face look as though a kid went crazy with the crayolas.

Good lord it looks like she threw make up at your face. Definitely go elsewhere and ask for your money back.

Yikes! Dreadful…she made you look older too. You look so lovely in the first pic…I’d be inclined to do my makeup myself over using this lady! what a mess. Or could you use the person who did it in the 2nd pic?

I agree, she did an awful job. I would find someone else. I would also reconsider the matte look. That looks great in editorial but it doesn’t look great in real life and especially a bride. You should look dewy, not muddy.
I know you didn’t ask, but I suggest you grow out the inner corners of your eyebrow. Over time, you have been a little too zealous wirh the tweezer in that area. I know I have to let mine grow out for about three weak about once a year and get them professionally done to keep their shape perfect.

Show her this thread and ask for refund.

You are beautiful. You’re right that she’s done a terrible job. However, your inspiration picture isn’t as helpful as it could be. I can’t see what she’s wearing on her eyes. Find more pictures. And definitely find a different makeup artist! All is not lost.

OH NO! I can’t believe they filled your lovely eyebrows like that! Thank goodness you had a trial.. I would lose the deposit if you can’t get it back and find someone else.
Good luck, Bee!

All the nooooopes. What the hell are those eyebrows?? You are stunning. It ain’t you, honey! Elsewhere! Pronto!
Thanks everyone! You’ve convinced me to contact her to cancel and ask about a refund. I’ll definitely be looking elsewhere!
I don’t think it’s good but I think the worst part is the eyebrows… If she hadn’t colored them in and made it look like a 2 year old playing with black crayons then I think the rest of the look would have been okay. Iwould look for a different makeup artisit because you don’t want to have that problem on your wedding day.

I don’t know anything about makeup, so looking at this I can’t put my finger on exactly what’s wrong. All I know is that shit don’t look right. And you’re so pretty!
Also, you sound like a nice person, so I will give you this advice – DON’T be nice. She is terrible at her job and doesn’t deserve her money. Be aggressive with her, because if she perceives that she can guilt you into letting her keep the money, she absolutely will. Don’t fall for it! Stand your ground.

Lord have mercy that is a trainwreck.
So sorry bee you really are a beauty and that makeup is doing the exact opposite of what it should be doing!
If it comes down to it I would lose the deposit, it sucks but you know you don’t want this happening on the big day. You could ask to be let out of the contract, never hurts to (forcefully) ask!

kaycost: OMG. I’m a prof MUA and girl… This is the worst thing I’ve seen on the bee in years.
Theres even make up in your hair. Your eyebrows and eyeliner are a travesty.
No. No. No. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I would ask this person where they were trained and I would NEVER let her touch your beautiful face again.
I am just aghast. You are so pretty, she had to try hard to mess you up.
